SFI Soil Health Assessment
Our soil health assessment will form the main component of our soil management plan and will consist of physical, chemical and biological components. These measurements are required to meet SFI standards.
Essentials Soil Health Assessment - SFI Compliant
These include :
- Soil type
- Soil texture
- Topsoil depth
- Soil structure (VESS)
- Infiltration rate
- Steepness and length of slopes
- Organic matter (LOI)
- pH, P, K, Mg
- Earthworm numbers and worm type.
- Soil Health Score
Soil Management Plan and Recommendations
Soil health assessments will be used to form a soil management plan.
We will provide :
- Soil erosion risk assessment
- Detailed reports that translate results and calculations into a way that farmers can use and apply to their farm.
- An understanding of how your soil is performing and why, referencing each assessment.
- Recommendations of how to improve soil health and maximise potential.
